Таэллеdo they have salted cucumbers in the English-speaking world Sure they do; it's just not as common. Here cucumbers are mostly pickled, with a few salted here and there, as opposed to in Russia, where there were a few pickled and mostly salted. Salt was hard to get here for a long while, so people used vineager to preserve pretty much everything. I'll tell more about "culturally different foods" separately.
Чиффа. Sure can. Will now, actually. BTW, I like ground (тертая?) beet with garlic and beet cakes (котлеты?) if well done. Ground beet, yes. Beet cakes, bo beet pancakes, or beet hamburgers for "котлеты".
Dyxare you sure about that? )) Yup. I haven't seen you in a long sophisticated conversation yet, but you don't make an impression of someone who doesn't know the language. And don't be afraid of making mistakes. Even educated native speakers make them, and we are all just learning.

Kleo Scanti *sigh* I know that, thanks for the compliment, but I'm afraid I haven't deserve it now ) You see all my stupid mistakes... I love English, really, I can say that I'm crazy about it, but I don't know it quite well, you know. All my practice is just games that I's playing for a long time, that's all.
And you don't repeat same mistakes twice, btw. It's great. For so little practice you are doing very well indeed. I've seen english books with much worse language. honestly.
I dunno. May be you're right. I'm just afraid and really hate mistakes, as I said before. All right, that's enough of stupid whining.. It's not giving me great marks indeed. I'm sorry.
Dyx, I don't see point in "hating" mistakes. It's not a person or even some abstract concept. It's an essential part of the learning process, so when you're saying that you hate mitakes what you actually mean is that you hate learning. As writing in English isn't something you absolutely have to do, you can rather stop doing it or change your attitude because it can really hider your progress. And one more thing. Absolutely everyone of us one day were where you are now. So yes, we do really know it.
Everything happens for the first time at some point. And from what I see here, you'll easily get used to it.
Чиффа.
You're welcome. "Actually" is one of my favourite English words which I use sometimes too often.
