I liked it in childhood. But now, sadly, I can not draw a line properly. So it's seldom or never I can create something not utterly ugly. I can not understand how put a shadows at boot. So i can cay i'd like to draw but outcome is too terrific.

[f:]ReesKey No, I am too busy nowadays. And I think that schools is for people who has a talant to draw but I have nothing of it. So I prefer to scare only myself))

I love drawing! And painting. And other forms of art... well, a lot of them, anyway.
I used to go to Art School in Moscow when I was a teenager, and it was nice enough. And then I took some art classes in college... which is really all I ever did formally, so my education is very incomplete. But I like drawing and do it pretty often.

KattyJamison, drawing is something you do with pencils, while for painting you need paint, right? Like, water-colour?)

I used to go to a drawing school when I was about... 6 years I guess. Of course my parents kept saying I had a talent - parents always do that.) I dropped my lessons in a year. Thoug later at school my teacher always praised me and tried to make me visit special lessons again. Once my work was even printed in the school's news-paper. It was a portrait of Nataly Goncharova.
Personally I don't think I am good at painting. I can paint from a copy but to make a picture myself — no.

I'm an architect and a designer, so drawing is a part of my life. I never went to a drawing school, but we obviously had drawing, painting and sculpture classes at the University as well as things such as a 3D Composition. Now I do most of my job using my computer, and when I want to do something for my own pleasure, it's usually either vector art or digital painting.

I love drawing, but I can't do it Whenever I try to draw something, it comes out not just wrong - it comes out godawful. Just blots and lines. This is very unfortunate, because I have this great idea of my own Tarot deck and I'd love to draw it myself, I have all the right images in my head... but if I start doing it, the very idea will be spoilt forever by my clumpsy hands.
I guess I envy those who CAN draw.

[f:]ReesKey Pretty much like that, yes. You can also draw with pen, quill, charcoal, chalks, ink and brush and pastels. Painting is with brush or another "put it onto a medium" implements and colors: watercolors, oil colors, acrylics.

KattyJamison Digital 3D visualisation and a residential interior design mostly. I don't actually work as an architect even though it's my official qualification. I love variety in my job.
